Book Creator for iPad App Reviews

This app has lack of feature, difficult to use, none-interactive, not suitable for education. I would recommend other apps.

My first raised in using this app to publish their written work. The app to export as a PDF or physical or is a short video. This makes the books easy for sharing. The app is very use, very easy to teach five and six-year-olds to use, and quite intuitive. My students love using the Book Creator app to publish their work. After a few many lessons on how to use the app, students are quite independent at completing their work, then publishing it using the app. I would recommend this app to anyone to use in the classroom or for personal use. I did the developer is very supportive in helping you work through any issues that you may have. They are very responsive and open to suggestions.

I found Book Creator to be the absolute best app for creating story books and social stories to relay information and behavior expectations for people with autism and other disabilities. I teach parents and professionals how to use book creator and share the stories with everyone in their lives. It has made a tremendous difference for my son and all the families I help. Thank you for creating such a wonderful tool!

I love using this app in my first grade classroom! The children type their books, import their pictures, and narrate their books with video files. When we are done, everyone gets a copy of everyone elses book saved as an ePub, a PDF, and a video file! This app is a must for teachers to use in their classrooms. Thanks for a GREAT app!!!!

The app will not display landscape spreads!!! We want an illustration to straddle 3 facing pages! This app will not allow this. How is this a great app??

This is, By far Totally and completely Awesome, along with the ability to play a track or record a read along!

Really, this cant change the font, or the font SIZE!!!!!!

I have always loved this app which allows both kids and adults to easily create amazing eBooks filled with multimedia elements. This new version adds the ability to create comic pages! The interface remains simple and intuitive, but the options for customizing are awesome. Can’t wait to try this feature with my classes!

Needs a few more features like being able to copy all images from one page and paste them in another without doing it one by one. And also, there is no way for the book to be viewed as single pages.

This should also allow you to change the font!

I have had this app for a long time, over a year. The new cartoon features are a great idea. However, for me at least, I find the thought bubbles, speech bubbles, whatever, are exploded too large for the panels themselves and it is impossible to pinch them any smaller than they already are. Ive mentioned this in my previous reviews and nothing has been changed. Also, the backgrounds I choose for my cartoons, (which I create in an art app and export to my camera roll), are not locking. I am hoping the developers will look into this problem. A third problem is that it takes forever, and I mean forever, to go back to the main screen from within my books. Why is that? I find it frustrating to create almost anything on the app and Ive just about given up.... Older review, December 08, 2015 > I love this app and Ive just tried out the comic panels. Theyre pretty good. However, the size of the thought balloons, and possibly the speech balloons should have better control with sizing. The reason that I feel this way is because the panels themselves are very small and the balloons are just too large to fit inside the panels. Maybe its me, but I had a problem getting the balloons small enough to fit inside the panel and therefore I find them to be unusable at this point. I would love to know what others think about this. Great support! My biggest hurdle is I am not an "Apple" person but the developers helps me all the same. No doubt they will make this app better and better.

How could apple, or whoever, come up with a really nice app and have no file import function. Without that this 3 star, with the ability to import a pdf, ePub, or text file makes this a 5+. I have a published book, I would love to use these features and republish. Good job otherwise. This app is excellent. The morni use it, the features become relevant. Everything WORKS, just love this app. BUT getting the final product to the iBook store, is a nightmare. Apple, whoever, just have to do better, should be easy to transfer from iPad to iTunes, connect, producer.
