Nice app. But the new cartoon speech bubbles cannot be reduced enough to fit the page.

This is up there as my favorite app and off the top of my head I would say it is. I love to write. I can create awesome books for this. If your a teacher this can be a powerful tool to help students learn lessons in a creative, fun way.

There is one serious limitation. Once you create a page, you cannot DELETE it. It allows to Delete but after that you cannot Save. You can only cancel which discards the changes. Please fix this.

Great app for kids writing in school. Easy to use too.

This app can easily be used to make a great photo book for Grandma & Grandpa across the world as well as a, "show what you know," assessment that complies with the Common Core Standards. The formatting options are good without being complicated. The ability of using voice elements, music and videos in addition to text makes the finished product more like an interactive textbook than a flat picture journal. The positive and prompt response of the developer to specific questions leads me to believe that this app will be responsive to the changing technology and not a one-hit-wonder.

Its a pretty neat app. It needs a table of contents type of page though. So you can jump to pages. Also, being able to ajust height/ width of the picture and cropping would be awesome. That would probably make it a perfect app. Otherwise, its great,

It is very easy to use to make books. You can move pages around, except you cant move a page to be the first one. I added a page and then tried to make it page one and couldnt.

I have worked for at least 2 hours trying to simply paste text written for a book and it is impossible. The font size continuously changes and the text doesnt flow simply from one page to the next - which would seem like common sense. Also, why not make it so that you can directly edit the text on the pages (i.e. you can actually see the words, paragraphs and sentences as they are being written). It would be better to simply set the font size add pictures, sound etc, and edit. This app is seems great for arts and crafts, but nothing serious.

This is a descent app that allows the creation of simple ebooks, photo albums, etc. Be aware that the app does not put fancy borders around photos. Every box is a text box that can have a backdrop. Dont expect adding shapes. There is no template function. I suggest creating a book and merging it into the book you want to use. I expected to send the book via PDF format to other apps, but that doesnt appear possible. However, you can email it as a PDF.

Great simple app for creating books as long as you view them in iBooks. Forget it if you want to print and produce a hardcopy book as seen in creator or iBooks. The pages do not lay out the same if you are doing side by side and front-back.

I used Book Creator to upload my historical/fantasy graphic novel "Pa Hua Zi And The Clever Girl," the first multi-media Chinese language graphic novel in the iBookstore. The book includes clear, colorful graphics, Chinese calligraphy, and voice-over narration. Its amazing! And, it would not have been possible without the easy to use Book Creator and Red Jumpers helpful staff.

This is not a bad app, but I feel like it is lacking features that a desktop iBooks editor might boast about. Using the iBooks application on my Mac makes for a stunning presentation when paired with iBooks on the ipad. But this app simply doesnt carry the same tune. Yes, it is easy to write and manipulate images, but when I publish, I am left with only a page turning experience. If there were more options for the end product I might be more about to spend $5.

Book Creator is a good idea, but their are a lot of kinks that need to be worked out. For one, the interface is intuitive, but not convenient. For one, the font size controller needs work. Its really difficult to get an exact font size due to the sensitivity of the slider. I would add an automatic font size input box. The other problem is that book creator is glitchy. For one, if you copy text from Pages and hit the "done" button, it can no longer be edited. If you try, the app simply does no make the changes. The biggest problem is that sometimes a text box simply will not appear. After hitting done, its just not there. Ive tried everything to make it appear, but it just doesnt work. I hope you take my suggestions, because Book Creator really does have the potential to be a great app.

I love this app it is amazing!!!!

This app is great except for the fact that the screen keeps freezing and you have to close it each time after you make a edit. It still works, but takes forever because you have to keep closing and opening the app. I think this will be great once they fix the bugs..

I used Book Creator with my students as a culminating project for their research on wild animals. I like the app because its very user-friendly and the finished book can be viewed in iBooks. Some of my students cannot be published on the web, so this allows us to create the product without publishing it to the Internet. When I sent an email to tech support at Book Creator, I had a helpful reply within 24 hours. Highly recommend!

Would be a good app but it crashes constantly. Also, the design is not very user friendly. I wish I could give it a better rating since it is a good concept but it crashes too much.
